Squaring the Circle is a conceptual vinyl album redesign inspired by Muse's "Madness" from The 2nd Law. The goal was to translate the emotional progression of the music into a visual narrative, using photography, composition, and digital editing to build a cover system that feels as cinematic as the song itself.

Redesign the packaging for an existing album, creating a front cover, gatefold interior, and back cover that work together as one continuous visual story. The solution needed to respect the identity of the original record while introducing an original art direction driven by photography and typography.

This project pushed me to think about album artwork as a sequence rather than a single image. Photography, color, and composition all had to carry the emotional arc of the music across every panel, and editing became the tool that tied those moments into one cohesive world.
